For instance, if you're a first-time author with little or no platform, hybrid publishing may be ideal for you, as traditional publishers like Harper Collins or Simon & Schuster might not take a chance on you. On the other hand, if you already have an established fanbase or large platform, you may benefit more from hybrid publishing, as you'll earn more from your sales. Hybrid publishing can also be a great choice if you've been published before and have gained credibility in the eyes of the press. Even if you don't have a fanbase, appearing on your hybrid publisher's website and social media accounts can help you gain more exposure.
However, hybrid publishing may not be suitable for everyone. If you can't afford to fund your own book production, if you're seeking a book advance, or if you want the maximum royalty amount, hybrid publishing may not be the best option for you.
